The Interior

A warm greeting welcomes you to Bowral in the Southern Highlands of NSW.  A cheese platter and complimentary wine or freshly baked scones, local jams and loose leaf tea of your choice are served upon arrival from Sunday to Friday.  For weekend guests an elegant complimentary high tea with Centennial Vineyards award winning Pinot Chardonnay sparkling wine is served at 5pm on Saturdays to a background of classical piano music on the Yamaha C7 Grand.

Curl up in front of the wood fire in the Family Room at evening with a CD or DVD or relax in the heated billiard room with TV and DVD facilities and soak up the relaxed country easygoing lifestyle.  Or simply enjoy the comfort of your own suite, each having a lounge, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary drinks, heating and airconditioning and large TV and DVD facility.

The Grand Room, whilst spacious, is homely and relaxing and a desirable location to read or listen to recorded music.  A concert grand piano is located at one end that is used for weekly chamber music ensembles, and once a year, a charity concert is held here for local community initiatives.  If you are a musician feel free to bring your music and play the grand piano.  The room, as with the rest of the manor, has central heating for chilly winter days.  The Grand Room can be adapted for a wedding reception or function with table seating for 60 people.

A delightful relaxing lounge area is what we have called ‘The Nook’ which faces the Western sun for the winter afternoons.  The balcony in the summer months is ideal for enjoying refreshments and soaking up the sun.  The Nook also has music playing facilities.
